UNIT – 4 NETWORK LAYER & TRANSPORT LAYER Network Layer Protocols, Design issues, Virtual Circuits and datagram’s, Routing Algorithms, Optimality principle, Shortest path routing, Dijkstra’s algorithms, Distance Vector routing, Link state routing, Flow and Congestion Control, packet discarding, Traffic shaping, Choke Management, Establishment and releases, TCP & UDP.
