Intermediate code generation: Different intermediate forms, Syntax directed translation mechanism and attributed definition.


UNIT - 3 Run Time Theory Management

Static memory allocation and stack based memory allocation schemes, Symbol table management.


UNIT - 4 Code Generation

Machine model, Order of evaluation, Registers allocation and code selection.


UNIT - 5 Code Optimization

Global data flow analyses, A few selected optimizations like command sub expression removal, Loop invariant code motion, Strength reduction.
